For as long as I can remember my mom has had an Oven Rack Helper. When I bought my own house I started looking for one of these for my kitchen. I could never find one. So, I came up with my own design. My mom's was just strait and boring. I started with oak that came from a fallen tree from my father-in-law's yard. He bought a little mill and gave me some of the wood. I plained it down to a good size, then came up with a shape that is comfortable in your hand. I then used a rub on varnish to give it an elagant, and beautiful look. I now make and sell quite a few of these. It is a vary nice addition to any kitchen. Please, take a look and let me know what you think.
That is a super handy creation!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! I could have used one of those the other day when I was careless and forgot to put an oven mitt on. Good luck with your blog and creations!
